Description
ME Family Services offers an extensive range of free and professional services to support local families and the wider community. Most of our funding is provided by the Government to strengthen communities, families and help the people of Māngere and Ōtāhuhu live fulfilling lives. Our staff are passionate, qualified and talented individuals who know this community well and are part of its networks.
We encourage self-determination and have a commitment to continuous self-development and regenerative growth throughout all of our services. We are committed to working in partnership with families, local schools, community groups and local businesses.

Mangere East Family Services Early Childhood Education Centre has been supporting the Mangere Community for over 30 years. Our primary focus is on the well-being of our tamariki within a warm, nurturing, whanau-centred environment. In line with our commitment to and acknowledgement of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, our philosophy is underpinned by the following pou: Ako, Whanaungatanga, Manaakitanga, Turangawaewae, Tino Rangatiratanga, Aroha, Mana & Tapu. We offer 30 FREE hours ECE subsidy Monday – Friday (8 am – 4 pm) for children aged 4 months to 5 years old.
