This practice provides COVID-19 testing to both enrolled and casual patients. These require bookings - they are not a walk in clinic.

Testing for International Travel

INTERNATIONAL:

 

PCR NASAL SWAB

This clinic provides pre-departure test swabs for international travel on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays only (mornings only on Wednesday).

They cannot provide international travel testing outside of these days, and allow at least 48 hours to get results back. These tests require an appointment.

SUPERVISED RAPID ANTIGEN TEST (RAT)

This clinic provides supervised pre-departure Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT's) for international travel. These tests require booking an appointment - they are not a walk in clinic. A letter is provided with the result for you to give to your travel provider. Please note that MeNZ Medical do not know the different requirements for each country and the patient will need to provide this information.

DOMESTIC:

We can provide pre-departure tests for domestic flights Monday to Friday, but still allow at least 48 hours for us to get results back.

Please take this into account when making your booking, as swabs taken on Wednesday afternoon, Thursdays and Fridays won't have results available until the following Monday at the earliest.

Provides free face masks

This site offers free face masks when people are collecting RATs (subject to availability).

COVID-19 Vaccination

Getting a COVID-19 vaccine is an important step you can take to protect yourself, your kaumātua and whānau from the effects of the virus. For more information on the COVID-19 vaccines and eligibility visit Ministry of Health - COVID-19 vaccines Covid-19 vaccines can be administered before, after, or at the same time as other national schedule vaccines. When the Nuvaxovid vaccine is given at the same time as the Shingrix shingles vaccine or the Fluad Quad flu vaccine, there may be a chance of experiencing a stronger post-vaccination response and you should discuss this with your vaccinator. Vaccinations are available by appointment only - please phone us to book an appointment.
