Vaccinations - As per the National Immunisation Schedule vaccinations are available during normal business hours and Saturday clinic.  Call or text our Telehealth Nurse on 021 197 2781

Tamariki Ora (Well Child) - Available to whānau living in Waitakere region.  Home visit service is available for tamariki aged 0- 4years old.  Core visits, milestone checks, advice and immunisation are all included in this service.  Providers please send your referral under the child's name, including next of kin details, to tamariki@waiwhanau.com  Whānau can also self refer to this service.  For more information please call 0800 924 942 or speak directly to our Telehealth Nurse on 021 197 2781

Mauri Tu Mauri Ora Cancer Screening - Offering free cancer screening for cervical, breast and bowel.  Providing education on prevention of cancer through promotions and events.  If you are overdue, would like to speak to someone or want more information regarding this service, please contact our Telehealth Nurse on 021 197 2781

Cancer Navigation - Support service for whānau who are navigating their journey and are living in the Waitakere region.  Our team provides support for you and your whānau, to help you understand your plan as set out by specialist along with your treatment.  Referrals can be emailed to mmmcancer@waiwhanau.com For further information please contact our Telehealth Nurse on 021 197 2781

Māori Mobile Nursing - A service for whānau who have long term illness.  How to support, educate and help whānau to understand and maintain their plans.  Connecting to secondary services if required.  Referrals can be made to mmncancer@waiwhanau.com or for more information please contact our Telehealth Nurse on 021 197 2781

Immunisation

Immunisation is the safest and most effective way to provide protection for you and your tamariki’s health. For more information view the NZ immunisation schedule.

  • Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine
  • Measles / Mumps / Rubella (MMR) vaccine
  • Diphtheria / Tetanus / Pertussis (whooping cough) vaccine

COVID-19 Vaccination

Getting a COVID-19 vaccine is an important step you can take to protect yourself, your kaumātua and whānau from the effects of the virus. For more information on the COVID-19 vaccines and eligibility visit Ministry of Health - COVID-19 vaccines Covid-19 vaccines can be administered before, after, or at the same time as other national schedule vaccines. When the Nuvaxovid vaccine is given at the same time as the Shingrix shingles vaccine or the Fluad Quad flu vaccine, there may be a chance of experiencing a stronger post-vaccination response and you should discuss this with your vaccinator. Everyone 5 years and over in Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland can get vaccinated now. You don’t need to book to get vaccinated at community vaccination centres. Simply walk in or with the whānau in your bubble during the opening hours.
