I have been working in general practice for over 22 years. During this time, I’ve gained valuable experience working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds across countries including India, Mauritius, Singapore, and now New Zealand. Before settling in Auckland, I worked in Masterton—the largest rural town in the Wairarapa region—which gave me a strong foundation in delivering care in both urban and rural settings.

I believe one of the most important qualities in a GP is the ability to truly listen to patients and understand their concerns. I aim to ensure every patient I see feels heard, respected, and cared for. Being accessible is another key part of my practice. I understand that life can be busy, and not everyone is able to make it to the clinic easily. I’m available three days a week, from morning until late afternoon, and I make it a priority to be there for my patients when they are unwell.

As a mother of two boys—one a teenager and the other growing quickly—I appreciate the value of family-centered care. Families have unique health needs, and I strive to support them at every stage of life. I have a special interest in women’s health, sexual health, and child health, along with managing a broad range of general medical concerns across all age groups.
