We treat a range of acute wounds, including lacerations, skin tears, minor burns, infected wounds, and surgical wounds. We can also remove sutures (stitches) or staples following an injury. Prefer to receive your prescribed treatments at home? We can administer IV infusions and injectable medications prescribed by your GP or specialist — including iron infusions, Aclasta (zoledronic acid), Vitamin B12 injections, IV rehydration, Trulicity, Methotrexate, and more.

Feeling unwell and need time off work? After a telehealth consultation, we can issue an off work certificate for you to provide to your employer. Please note: This service excludes WINZ medical certificates and ACC off-work extensions.

Before you dive, ensure you’re medically fit for the water. Our recreational dive medicals include a review of your medical history and a focused examination of cardiovascular, respiratory, ear, and sinus function. We can complete and sign the PADI Diver Medical Participant Questionnaire, providing a medical clearance accepted by most recreational dive operators in New Zealand. Please note: we do not provide diving medicals for commercial or occupational divers, who must be assessed by a Designated Diving Doctor under WorkSafe NZ regulations.

Paramedics Associates provides community-based IV ketamine therapy on behalf of the South Island Ketamine Clinic, under the clinical direction and at the request of consultant psychiatrists.
